Faith Bound Street Ministry, Inc. ​is a faith based mobile ministry
​serving the homeless community of San Antonio

Established in 2015

Established on July 13, 2015, Faith Bound Street Ministry, Inc. is a faith based mobile ministry, which began because of a vision from God. We serve the homeless community, low-income, and impoverished areas in the city of San Antonio. Every Saturday Faith Bound Street Ministry feeds roughly 120 individuals and since inception has provided over thirty thousand lunch sacks to the less fortunate in our community.

Our Mission

As Deuteronomy 15:11 says, “For there will never cease to be poor in the land. Therefore, I command you shall open wide your hand to your brother, to the needy, and to the poor.” Faith Bound Street Ministry is committed to extending our hand and opening our hearts to every individual we serve. Our mission is to help restore the lives of individuals living in homelessness with the faith, hope, and love given to us by our savior, Jesus Christ. 

Who We Are

Debra Gonzales
Founder/President

Debra Gonzales is the President and Founder of Faith Bound Street Ministry. Her passion is helping the homeless and less fortunate in her city. She knows this purpose was directly appointed to her by God in a vision, which she has made her mission since establishing the ministry in 2015. Debra’s goal is to bring hope and revival back into the lives of the broken through the gospel and to spread the love of Jesus throughout the streets of San Antonio. 

​When Debra isn't out helping the less fortunate, she enjoys attending Community Bible Church, working out at Gold’s Gym, spending time with her family, friends, and Zeke, her dog.

Mary Gonzales
Co-Founder/Vice President

Mary is the Vice President and Co-Founder of Faith Bound Street Ministry. Mary’s enthusiasm for people is obvious by her week-to-week interaction with the less fortunate in her community. She credits her grandfather for the traits he instilled. Her love and willingness to help others in need are key components of the ministry.

She has been employed with UPS for 30 years. Mary is devoted to her family, friends, attending Community Bible Church, and spending time with her dogs Max and ZiZi. Mary practices defense and fitness at Krav Maga. Her interests also include traveling and animal rescue.

Desmond Stepherson
Public Relations/Marketing

Desmond Stepherson is the Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator of Faith Bound Street Ministry. The Lord changed his life on August 17, 2015 and he knew instantly his purpose was to do the will of God. Desmond's passion is to spread the love of Jesus by bringing awareness and aid to the homeless community throughout San Antonio. 

​Desmond spends his free time with family, friends, and his dog, Parker. He is an avid San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys fan who he cheers on faithfully. He attends Cornerstone and Community Bible Church, both of which have attributed to his strong Christian faith.
